Living in an English-speaking country alone won't improve your English dramatically.
Many people believe that if they immerse themselves in an English-speaking environment, their English will improve.
That's only half true.
Once you've reached the intermediate level, going beyond that requires more conscious effort on your part.
In fact, if you're not careful, living in an English-speaking country may cause unintended side effects that are undesirable.
